Durga Puja 2022 to follow current German COVID-19 protocols!
Bharat Samiti would like to inform our members and guests that at Durga Puja 2022 in Cologne-Chorweiler we will be following the current German COVID-19 protocols and general regulations for a safe festival.
As we return to host our Durga Puja festivities, we have had to take into account the realities which the Coronavirus pandemic has brought.
Amongst us we have older club members and attendees besides people from vulnerable groups, therefore we need to take certain precautions for them to be able to safely join our festivities.
Below a list of steps taken to ensure a safe and secure Durga Puja – Cologne
- We request all guests to bring their own masks (OP masks, FFP2, KN95) to the event!
- We will have restricted access to the event via pre-registration which was already closed.
- PS: If you have not registered and registration on a specific day is full, then we cannot guarantee access to the hall once we have reached our maximum capacity!
- Everyone is invited to participate in our Anjali celebrations, but it will only happen while wearing a mask (OP masks, FFP2, KN95) as distances cannot be maintained during Anjali.
- We will have disinfection stations around the hall.
- We will not have a mask mandate in the hall, but if you feel better wearing a mask, then please do so!
We would also like to inform that there is no entry fee to attend #DurgaPujaCologne but we would request you for a donation from you towards funding the Durga Puja festivities. Without the donations and sponsorships, we would not be able to organise this celebration of Ma Durga in the future.
We hope to have a safe, peaceful and enjoyable Durga Puja – Cologne on our 30th anniversary!
